Magazines speculative literature foundation
The market for speculative fiction is robust. There are scores of magazines, ezines, and websites that publish sci-fi, horror, fantasy, dark fiction, steam punk, and any combination of spec plus non-spec genres you can think of (i.e. romance/time travel, horror/humor). This year, we will accept applications July 1 through September 30, 2020. They are not currently available for academic research, though we hope to offer such funds in the future.

Welcome to Altered Reality Magazine.We publish Speculative Fiction of all genres, and sub-genres, as well as poetry. Our hope is that we can kindle a spark of imagination in a new generation, and rekindle it on those who have lost the passion. The SLF is a non-profit arts foundation, modeled on the National Endowment for the Arts, but focused specifically on serving the speculative literature (science fiction, fantasy, and horror) community. We plan to accomplish that goal by encouraging promising new writers, assisting established writers, facilitating the work of quality magazines and small presses in the genre, and developing a greater public To continue our exploration of the horror genre, we speak with writer Lindsay King-Miller, a fellow horror enthusiast. The Speculative Literature Foundation was launched in January 2004 to promote literary quality in speculative fiction. More than thirty volunteers, directed by Mary Anne Mohanraj, work on an ongoing basis to: Create a comprehensive website which serves as a hub for information of use to speculative fiction readers, writers, editors and publishers.
